Albany Falcons (Albany, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Schenectady Patriots (Schenectady, NY), 20-0 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they host Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge on Friday, May 3. Albany will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 8-5 league win over Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, Schenectady falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Colonie Central (Albany, NY) to battle the Raiders in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge on Friday, May 3. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 6-5.
