The Marysville Vikings softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Algonac Muskrats to 9 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Marysville moves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to New Haven (New Haven, MI) to clash with the Rockets in a non-league game on Thursday, May 2. The Rockets come into the game with a record of 2-1.

In their next game, the Muskrats clash with the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers (Croswell, MI) in a Blue Water Area game, on Tuesday, May 7. Algonac will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Pioneers come into the game with a 1-9 record after their 9-8 league loss to Almont (Almont, MI).
