The Andrew Thunderbolts softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Taft Eagles to 3 in the Thunderbolts non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Andrew moves its record to 19-4 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL) to play the Trojans in a non-league game on Thursday, May 2. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 12-5. Downers Grove North won 13-4 in their recent league game against Lyons (LaGrange, IL)

In their next game, the Eagles meet the ITW David Speer Academy Pride (Chicago, IL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 2. Taft will attempt to advance on its 17-5 season record. The Pride go into the battle with a 16-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL).
