Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Ellington Knights (Ellington, CT) and the host Bolton Bulldogs (Bolton, CT), witnessed Ellington's softball squad prevail over Bolton by a count of 21-0.

The Knights now sport a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to East Windsor for a North Central Connecticut match on Friday, May 3. Ellington will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Granby Memorial (Granby, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Bolton moves to 4-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Monday, May 6. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 1-8.
