The Latta Vikings softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Bridges Prep Buccaneers to 0 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Latta improves its record to 6-4 on the year.

In their next game, the Buccaneers clash with the Hemingway Tigers (Hemingway, SC) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 3. Bridges Prep will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 15-0 league loss to Johnsonville (Johnsonville, SC).
