The Erie Royals softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Conneaut Spartans to 18 in the Royals non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Erie moves its record to 1-11 on the year. The Royals travel to Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA) to clash with the Eagles in a District 10 Region 5 game on Thursday, May 2. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 3-8. Conneaut Area lost 4-2 in their recent league game against McDowell (Erie, PA)

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Crestwood Red Devils (Mantua, OH) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 7. Conneaut will attempt to move on its 5-12 season record.
