Conner Cougars (Hebron, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boone County for a District 33 challenge on Friday, May 3. Conner will face a Rebels squad coming off a 13-8 non-league win over Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 5-14.

With the loss, Pendleton County falls to 7-13 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Bourbon County (Paris, KY) to face the Colonels in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Colonels enter the challenge with a record of 7-9.
