Crest Ridge Cougars (Centerview, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Tipton Cardinals (Tipton, MO), 16-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they host St. Paul Lutheran for a Class 1 District 8 challenge on Friday, May 3. Crest Ridge will battle a Saints squad coming off a 12-11 non-league win over Windsor (Windsor, MO). The Saints record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, Tipton falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, MO) to battle the Cardinals in a Class 1 District 7 challenge on Thursday, May 2.
