The Cumberland Colts routed the visiting Schalick Cougars softball squad by a final score of 12-1 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Colts (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Triton (Runnemede, NJ). The Mustangs go into the Tri-County - Liberty battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Triton was routed by Eastern (Voorhees, NJ), 11-2, in a non-league battle.
The Cougars now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Glassboro for a Tri-County - Diamond battle on Monday, May 6. Schalick will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 17-1 non-league loss to Seneca (Tabernacle, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-11.
