Danvers Falcons (Danvers, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Swampscott Big Blue (Swampscott, MA), 16-8 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gloucester for a Northeast challenge on Friday, May 3.

With the loss, Swampscott falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Big blue host Lynn Classical (Lynn, MA) to face the Rams in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 4-5. Lynn Classical lost 16-4 in their recent league challenge against Everett (Everett, MA)
