Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Donovan Wildcats (Donovan, IL), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westville for a Vermilion Valley challenge on Thursday, May 2. Watseka will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Georgetown-Ridge Farm (Georgetown, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 21-2.

With the loss, Donovan falls to 5-15 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL) to battle the Panthers in a River Valley challenge on Monday, May 6. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 10-11. Gardner-South Wilmington won 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Grace Christian Academy (Kankakee, IL)
