The Elk River Elks (Elk River, MN) softball nipped the visiting Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN), 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Elks (2-10) will now prepare for their bout against Buffalo (Buffalo, MN). The Bison come into the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Buffalo nipped Wayzata (Plymouth, MN), 13-7, in a non-league contest.
