Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Fenton Bison (Bensenville, IL) and the host Niles North Vikings (Skokie, IL), witnessed Fenton's softball squad tip Niles North by a count of 2-0.

The Bison now sport a 13-11 record. They play next when they host South Elgin for a Upstate Eight match on Thursday, May 2. Fenton will face a Storm squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Storm record now stands at 15-9.

With the loss, Niles North moves to 7-11 on the season. The Vikings host Maine West (Des Plaines, IL) to face the Warriors in a Central Suburban - North match on Tuesday, May 7. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 14-3. Maine West won 10-0 in their recent non-league match against DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL)
