In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Old Orchard Beach Seagulls (Old Orchard Beach, ME), by a margin of 15-0.

With the triumph, Freeport moves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Falcons host Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME) to play the Eagles in a Class B South contest on Monday, May 6. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 2-4. Lincoln Academy lost 13-3 in their recent league contest against Leavitt (Turner, ME)

In their next game, the Seagulls play the Telstar Rebels (Bethel, ME) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 3. Old Orchard Beach will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Rebels come into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 9-6 league loss to St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME).
