Greencastle Tiger Cubs (Greencastle, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Indian Creek Braves (Trafalgar, IN), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Tiger Cubs now sport a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to White River Valley for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. Greencastle will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 10-6 league loss to Eastern Greene (Bloomfield, IN). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Indian Creek falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Braves host Oldenburg Academy (Oldenburg, IN) to face the Twisters in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Twisters enter the challenge with a record of 2-10. Oldenburg Academy won 20-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Greenwood Christian Academy (Greenwood, IN)
