The Robinson Maroons softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Martinsville Bluestreaks to 0 in the Maroons non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Robinson moves its record to 11-12 on the year. The Maroons travel to Lawrenceville (Lawrenceville, IL) to clash with the Indians in a Little Illini game on Monday, May 6. The Indians come into the game with a record of 10-16. Lawrenceville won 10-2 in their recent non-league game against Dugger Union (Dugger, IN)

In their next game, the Bluestreaks clash with the Hutsonville/Palestine Tigers (Palestine, IL) in a Little Okaw Valley game, on Thursday, May 2. Martinsville will attempt to move on its 6-10 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 9-8 record after their 12-3 non-league loss to Casey-Westfield (Casey, IL).
