The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT) and the visiting Putnam Clippers (Putnam, CT), saw St. Bernard's softball squad achieve victory over Putnam by a count of 9-0.

The Saints now sport a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Woodstock Academy for a non-league match on Friday, May 3. St. Bernard will face a Centaurs squad coming off a 14-8 league win over Killingly (Killingly, CT). The Centaurs record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, Putnam falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Clippers travel to Tourtellotte (North Grosvenordale, CT) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, May 3. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 0-6.
