The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the St. Dominic Saints (Lewiston, ME) and the host Telstar Rebels (Bethel, ME), saw St. Dominic's softball squad nip Telstar by a count of 9-6.

The Saints now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Abram for a non-league match on Friday, May 3. St. Dominic will face a Roadrunners squad coming off a 15-2 non-league loss to Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME). The Roadrunners record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Telstar moves to 1-6 on the season. The Rebels travel to Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME) to meet the Seagulls in a non-league battle on Friday, May 3. The Seagulls go into the battle with a record of 0-6. Old Orchard Beach lost 15-0 in their recent non-league battle against Freeport (Freeport, ME)
