The Ellington Knights baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets to 0 in the Knights non-league win on Thursday.

The Knights now hold a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockville for a North Central Connecticut test on Monday, May 5. Ellington will play a Rams team coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT). The Rams record now stands at 4-5.

With the defeat, Academy of Aerospace and Engineering drops to 1-5 on the year. The Jets host Weaver (Hartford, CT) to play the Beavers in a non-league test on Monday, May 5. The Beavers go into the test with a record of 1-7. Weaver lost 22-0 in their recent non-league test against Somers (Somers, CT)
