The Aquinas Institute Little Irish baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Corning-Painted Post Hawks to 3 in the Little Irish non-league win on Thursday.

The Little Irish now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greece Arcadia for a non-league test on Friday, May 2. Aquinas Institute will play a Titans team coming off a 9-2 league loss to Greece Athena (Rochester, NY). The Titans record now stands at 2-8.

With the defeat, Corning-Painted Post drops to 0-1 on the year. The Hawks host Elmira (Elmira, NY) to play the Express in a Section 4 Southern Tier - West match on Monday, May 5. The Express come into the match with a record of 5-8. Elmira won 2-0 in their recent league match against Union-Endicott (Endicott, NY)
