The Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI) baseball trounced the visiting Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI), 12-1 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Broncos now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host St. Raphael Academy for a Division 2 challenge on Monday, May 5. Burrillville will clash with a Saints team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Providence Country Day (East Providence, RI). The Saints record now stands at 8-4.

With the defeat, Prout drops to 5-7 on the year. The Crusaders host East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI) to clash with the Avengers in a Division 2 challenge on Saturday, May 3. The Avengers go into the challenge with a record of 5-7. East Greenwich won 5-2 in their recent league challenge against Narragansett (Narragansett, RI)
