The Cheney Tech Chargers baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Parish Hill Pirates to 0 in the Chargers non-league win on Thursday.

The Chargers now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host East Windsor for a non-league test on Friday, May 2. Cheney Tech will play a Panthers team coming off a 9-6 league loss to Stafford (Stafford Springs, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 2-6.

With the defeat, Parish Hill drops to 1-4 on the year. The Pirates host Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT) to play the Ravens in a Capital Region Athletic test on Tuesday, May 6. The Ravens go into the test with a record of 1-6. Academy of Science and Innovation lost 15-2 in their recent non-league test against Prince RVT (Hartford, CT)
