The Gilmour Academy Lancers (Gates Mills, OH) baseball trounced the visiting West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH), 10-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Lancers now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lutheran West for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 7. Gilmour Academy will clash with a Longhorns team coming off a 18-0 league win over Trinity (Garfield Heights, OH). The Longhorns record now stands at 10-5.

With the defeat, West Geauga drops to 10-8 on the year. The Wolverines host Hawken (Gates Mills, OH) to clash with the Hawks in a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin challenge on Monday, May 5. The Hawks go into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Hawken won 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against South (Willoughby, OH)
