The Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) baseball got by the visiting Grove City Eagles (Grove City, PA), 4-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Lancers now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they host New Brighton for a WPIAL 2A 2 challenge on Monday, May 5. Neshannock will clash with a Lions team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA). The Lions record now stands at 9-6.

With the defeat, Grove City drops to 3-11 on the year. The Eagles travel to Titusville (Titusville, PA) to clash with the Rockets in a District 10 Region 2 challenge on Monday, May 5. The Rockets go into the challenge with a record of 13-2. Titusville won 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Hickory (Hermitage, PA)
