Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Coventry improves its record to 10-0 on the season. The Oakers travel to Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI) to encounter the Hawks in a non-league test on Monday, May 5. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 2-2.

The Avengers now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Salle Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. East Greenwich will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Rams record now stands at 4-3.
