Academy of the Sacred Heart Gazelles (Bloomfield Hills, MI) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the host Central Catholic Fighting Irish (Toledo, OH), 15-9 in a league game.

With the victory, Academy of the Sacred Heart improves its record to 5-4 on the season. The Gazelles host Divine Child (Dearborn, MI) to play the Falcons in a non-league game on Friday, May 2. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 6-7. Divine Child won 15-9 in their recent league game against Notre Dame Academy (Toledo, OH)

The Fighting Irish now have a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ottawa Hills for a non-league game on Monday, May 5. Central Catholic will play a Green Bears team coming off a 11-7 non-league win over Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH). The Green Bears record now stands at 6-5.
