Jefferson Jaguars (Bloomington, MN) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting Blake Bears (Minneapolis, MN), 14-12 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Jefferson advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Jaguars host Apple Valley (Apple Valley, MN) to play the Eagles in a Section 3 game on Friday, May 2. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 0-4. Apple Valley lost 42-20 in their recent non-league game against Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN)

The Bears now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Breck for a Section 5 game on Saturday, May 3. Blake will play a Mustangs team coming off a 16-7 league loss to St. Louis Park (St. Louis Park, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-2.
