In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Hayfield Hawks lacrosse squad scored a good 14-2 triumph over the Lewis Lancers.

The Hawks (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA). The Majors go into the National contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Mount Vernon was overwhelmed by Justice (Falls Church, VA), 19-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Lancers meet the Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials (Alexandria, VA) in a National contest, on Tuesday, May 6. Lewis will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record. The Colonials go into the contest with a 8-0 record after their 19-8 league win over Edison (Alexandria, VA).
