In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Monmouth Regional Falcons lacrosse squad scored a good 14-4 triumph over the Neptune Scarlet Fliers.

The Falcons (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Rose (Belmar, NJ). The Purple Roses go into the non-league challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, St. Rose was overwhelmed by Brick Township (Brick, NJ), 10-9, in a league challenge.

Next, the Scarlet Fliers clash with the Brick Memorial Mustangs (Brick, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 5. Neptune will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 6-4 league loss to Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ).
