Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH) and the visiting Orange Lions (Pepper Pike, OH), witnessed Riverside's lacrosse squad gain a win over Orange by a count of 11-9.

The Beavers (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Bombers enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Kenston nipped Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH), 14-6, in a league contest.

Next, the Lions meet the Canfield Cardinals (Canfield, OH) in a Region 6 contest, on Tuesday, May 6. Orange will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 9-3 record after their 5-5 non-league Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (Cuyahoga Falls, OH).
