Virginia High School Lacrosse - West Potomac overwhelms West Springfield

In Thursday's league contest, the host West Potomac Wolverines lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-8 triumph over the West Springfield Spartans.
The Wolverines (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Titans go into the Patriot contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Alexandria City was overwhelmed by Woodson (Fairfax, VA), 9-7, in a league contest.
Next, the Spartans meet the South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) in a Patriot contest, on Tuesday, May 6. West Springfield will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Stallions go into the contest with a 2-9 record after their 11-6 league loss to Fairfax (Fairfax, VA).
