Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Oshkosh West Wildcats (Oshkosh, WI) and the visiting Appleton East Patriots (Appleton, WI), saw Oshkosh West's soccer squad hold off Appleton East by a count of 2-1.

The Wildcats (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Oshkosh North (Oshkosh, WI). The Spartans enter the Fox Valley Association battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Oshkosh North tipped Ripon (Ripon, WI), 5-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Patriots confront the West Bend West Spartans (West Bend, WI) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 3. Appleton East will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
