The Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Bainbridge Bearcats (Bainbridge, GA), 9-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Bobcats now hold a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cherokee Bluff for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 5. Gilmer will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA). The Bears record now stands at 13-6.
With the loss, Bainbridge moves to 13-4 on the year.
