The Bishop McGuinness Villains smashed the visiting Wheatmore Warriors soccer team by a tally of 10-1 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Villains clash with the Leadership Academy Falcons (Kernersville, NC) in a Northwest Piedmont 1A test, on Friday, May 2. Bishop McGuinness will attempt to move on its 15-3 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 9-8 record after their 9-0 league win over Triad Math and Science Academy (Greensboro, NC).
The Warriors now sport a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Uwharrie Charter Academy for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A test on Monday, May 5. Wheatmore will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 11-0 league win over Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 13-3.
