Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL) and the visiting Streator/Woodland Bulldogs (Streator, IL), saw Lisle's soccer squad triumph over Streator/Woodland by a count of 5-0.
The Lions (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Cristo Rey Jesuit (Chicago, IL). The Cristeros enter the non-league battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Cristo Rey Jesuit tipped Our Lady of Tepeyac (Chicago, IL), 6-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, IL) in a Illinois Central Eight battle, on Tuesday, May 6. Streator/Woodland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 5-8 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL).
