Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) and the host Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL), saw Lockport's soccer squad knock off Normal West by a count of 3-0.
The Porters (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against Springfield (Springfield, IL). The Senators enter the non-league battle with a 14-1 record. In their last battle, Springfield tipped Pleasant Plains/New Berlin (Pleasant Plains, IL), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Wildcats battle the Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 2. Normal West will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 6-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over West Chicago (West Chicago, IL).
