The Shrewsbury Colonials (Shrewsbury, MA) baseball trounced the host Grafton Gators (Grafton, MA), 13-5 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Colonials now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wachusett Regional for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 2. Shrewsbury will clash with a Mountaineers team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Algonquin Regional (Northborough, MA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 8-1.
With the defeat, Grafton drops to 6-2 on the year. The Gators travel to Blackstone Valley RVT (Upton, MA) to clash with the Beavers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 7. The Beavers go into the challenge with a record of 4-0.
