Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting St. Patrick Shamrocks (Chicago, IL), 10-1 in a league game.

With the victory, Carmel improves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Corsairs travel to Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, May 3. The Knights come into the game with a record of 2-3. Prospect lost 5-4 in their recent league game against Fremd (Palatine, IL)

The Shamrocks now have a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stevenson for a non-league game on Friday, May 2.
