In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Yorktown Patriots lacrosse squad scored a good 16-3 triumph over the McLean Highlanders.
The Patriots (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Meridian (Falls Church, VA). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Meridian knocked off Fauquier (Warrenton, VA), 7-4, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Highlanders meet the James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 9. McLean will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record.
