Virginia High School Softball - Western Branch succumbs to Grassfield

In Thursday's non-league test, the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), by a tally of 12-2.

Next, the Grizzlies clash with the Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 7. Grassfield will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record.

The Bruins (5-4) will now prepare for their test against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, King's Fork was routed by Windsor (Windsor, VA), 20-0, in a non-league test.
