In Thursday's non-league test, the Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT) lacrosse team overwhelmed the visiting Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT), by a count of 12-5.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Hamden Green Dragons (Hamden, CT) in a Southern Connecticut test, on Saturday, May 3. Amity Regional will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record.

The Panthers (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Weston (Weston, CT). The Trojans enter the South West test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Weston was overwhelmed by Hand (Madison, CT), 15-5, in a non-league test.
