Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the visiting Kellam Knights (Virginia Beach, VA), 10-9 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Benedictine improves its record to 8-8 on the season. The Cadets travel to James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA) to play the Rapids in a non-league game on Monday, May 5. The Rapids come into the game with a record of 7-4. James River Midlothian won 13-4 in their recent non-league game against Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA)

The Knights now have a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tallwood for a Beach game on Friday, May 2. Kellam will play a Lions team coming off a 14-2 league loss to First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA). The Lions record now stands at 0-5.
