Fans at Thursday's non-league test between the Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD) and the host South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD), witnessed Catoctin's lacrosse squad hold off South Carroll by a count of 11-10.

The Cougars (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Walkersville (Walkersville, MD). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Walkersville nipped Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD), 21-0, in a league test.
