Maine High School Lacrosse - Cheverus overwhelms Gray-New Gloucester

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Cheverus Stags lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-7 win over the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots.
The Stags (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Kennebunk nipped Lewiston (Lewiston, ME), 16-3, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Patriots meet the Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME) in a Class B contest, on Monday, May 5. Gray-New Gloucester will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 12-7 non-league win over Gorham (Gorham, ME).
