In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Jefferson Forest Cavaliers lacrosse squad scored a good 16-3 triumph over the Christiansburg Blue Demons.

The Cavaliers (10-1) will now prepare for their contest against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Western Albemarle knocked off Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA), 8-6, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Blue Demons encounter the Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA) in a River Ridge battle, on Tuesday, May 6. Christiansburg will attempt to advance on its 0-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 3-5 record after their 22-2 league loss to Salem (Salem, VA).
