Ohio High School Lacrosse - Holy Name overwhelms Roosevelt

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Holy Name Green Wave lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-7 triumph over the Roosevelt Rough Riders.

The Green Wave (13-1) will now prepare for their contest against Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH). The Bruins go into the Region 5 contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Padua Franciscan held off Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH), 14-2, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Rough Riders meet the St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish (Akron, OH) in a Region 6 contest, on Saturday, May 3. Roosevelt will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Fighting Irish go into the contest with a 4-8 record after their 10-4 non-league loss to Solon (Solon, OH).
