Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) and the visiting Iona Prep Gaels (New Rochelle, NY), witnessed New Canaan's lacrosse squad hold off Iona Prep by a count of 8-7.

The Rams (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Darien (Darien, CT). The Blue Wave enter the Fairfield County contest with a 4-2 record.

Next, the Gaels meet the Seton Hall Prep Pirates (West Orange, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 3. Iona Prep will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Pirates enter the contest with a 8-1 record after their 18-2 non-league win over Hun (Princeton, NJ).
