The Liberty Eagles edged the host Kettle Run Cougars lacrosse team by a tally of 13-12 in Thursday's league match.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Eastern View Cyclones (Culpeper, VA) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 5. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Cyclones enter the match with a 0-9 record after their 18-0 non-league loss to Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA).
The Cougars (2-8) will now prepare for their match against James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league match with a 8-1 record.
