Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Sevier County Smoky Bears (Sevierville, TN) and the host Roane County Yellowjackets (Kingston, TN), witnessed Sevier County's lacrosse squad achieve victory over Roane County by a count of 13-9.
The Smoky Bears (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Science Hill (Johnson City, TN). The Hilltoppers enter the non-league contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Science Hill was overwhelmed by Farragut (Knoxville, TN), 20-2, in a league contest.
