The St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish lacrosse team (Akron, OH), was overwhelmed 10-4 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Solon Comets (Solon, OH)
With the victory, Solon advances its record to 6-8 on the season. The Comets host Copley (Copley, OH) to encounter the Indians in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 8. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 8-4.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roosevelt for a Region 6 battle on Saturday, May 3. St. Vincent-St. Mary will encounter a Rough Riders team coming off a 12-7 non-league loss to Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH). The Rough Riders record now stands at 7-6.
